“B” Challenge

Welcome everyone…so glad you came my way today!  We have a fun challenge for you at Our Creative Corner!  Sarah Gough is our challenge hostess this week and she has challenged us to use all the “B”s…buttons, bling, black, and bow!  How fun is that!  I chose to make a card with the same sketch as a previous card I made– you can see it here.  Here’s this week’s card:

Here’s What I Used:
Stamps:  Simply Soft,
Paper:  Real Red DSP, Whisper White, Basic Black, Olive Green DSP, Rockability (retired)
Ink:  Stazon Jet Black, Memento Tuxedo, Basic Gray (sponged around circle edge)
Accessories:  Red Satin ribbon, Old Olive button, Mat Pack/Paper Piercer, silver pearls, Nestabilities, oh…and copics!

It’s hard to tell from this photo but the center circle is popped up on the scallop circle.  The sentiment is from Mat Pack 3 from PTI.  Since Stampin’ Up! has been die cutting their stamps, I haven’t been trimming them, however see that “leaf of grass” sticking up between the two flowers?  Yea, it’s an edge mark from the stamp and I HATE those to I’ve taken to trimming my stamps again!

Hop on over to see what the rest of the OCC Design Team has created. Everyone is welcome to play along, if you upload to SCS use the keyword OCCC. Good Luck! I can’t wait to see what you create this week!  Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend–try to stay cool!
