It's All About Stamping

Color Challenge: Pink, Red, Green, + Circles

Happy last weekend of July everyone!  Hope your summer has been smooth sailing so far and you still have lots of fun planned!  This week’s Our Creative Corner Challenge is a color challenge…mostly.  You are to use Pink, Red, Green, Black and White and also use fabric or circles on your project.  I am not a fan of pink and red together.  That has never been and never will be appealing to me!  The easy route would have been to go with flowers!  So of course I did not take that path.  And instead of black, I chose the neutral of Early Espresso.

Here’s What I Used:
Stamps:  Birthday Bakery
Paper:  Early Espresso, Real Red, Old Olive, Whisper White, Spring Fling (retired)
Ink:  Timber Brown Stazon, Memento Tuxedo,
Accessories:  Copics, Finishing Touches Edgelits, Rhinestones (colored with copics), Corner Rounder punch, Taffeta ribbon, Embossing folder,

I hope you will join us for the challenge!  Check out what the rest of the OCC Design Team has created. If you upload to SCS, use the keyword OCCC. If you would like to be considered for the Top Talent award, be sure you link back to the OCC post by 11:59pm EST next Friday. Happy creating!

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Wonderful to have you joining in with us this week, Wendy! Love your take on this color challenge, a nice contrast to all the poppy the rest of us used. I think the red and the pink look great together with the Espresso to balance it out. And the punched lace edge adds such a nice touch. Hope you are having a great weekend!

    Hugs,
    Linda
