World Card Making Day Cuckoo Clock

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted.  It’s been a busy month and held lots of adventure!  I got to visit with family and friends in Arizona and visit a daughter and her family in Coeur de’alene, Idaho.  It’s gorgeous up there and we had a great time with them.  I get to go back and see her in a couple weeks when she has her 3rd child/first son.  How fun is that?!  After visiting her, we took my younger daughter to school at BYU-Idaho.  She is having a crazy good time and I miss her so much!  Then we made the long drive back to Virginia!  There was so much to catch up on and do (I’m still not caught up)!  So this is my first post in like a month and a half.  I feel very out of practice!  Thanks to all of you who continue to follow along with me and encourage me!

It’s World Card Making Day! In honor of our special holiday, Our Creative Corner has issued a challege to create a card that takes its main inspiration from a country other than your own. Please explain where you got your inspiration and how you used it on your card.

I took a far reach and chose Germany (Black Forest) as the country for my card.  See if you can guess why!  (The cuckoo bird is actually popped up).

Here’s What I Used:
Stamps:  Easy Events,
Paper:  Early Espresso, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Frostwood Lodge DSP,
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo, copics,
Accessories:  Scallop Trim Border, Baker’s twine, Misc 1″ grosgrain ribbon, Lg button, rhinestones,

Hop on over to see what the rest of the OCC Design Team has created. Everyone is welcome to play along, if you upload to SCS use the keyword OCCC. I can’t wait to see what you create this week!

Thanks for stopping and have a great day!
