Distress to De-Stress Sketch

Welcome!  Today is Saturday and you know what that means…a new Our Creative Corner challenge!  I made a pretty card for the challenge and then ruined it by distressing it!!  Yep!  That’s how I feel about it!  I know there are a lot of you out there that make beautiful distressed looking projects but I’m not one of them!  This week’s hostess is Sarah Gough and she has given us a sketch to follow and asked us to distress it!  Mostly it just stressed me!  Not really!  But I did like it better when not distressed.

Here’s What I Used:
Stamps: Word Play, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Silhouette Sentiments
Paper: Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Parisian Breeze, Blue Bayou
Ink: Stazon  Jet Black, Baja Breeze, Soft Suede,
Accessories: Sponge Dauber, pearls, silver brads (under the pearls), Little Leaves Sizzlit, Mat Pack/Paper Piercer, N.Q. Navy marker, Spring Bouquet flower punch,  MS tag punch, Nesties, Textile Texture Emboss Folder,  Vanilla wide organza ribbon,  Sponge,

I invite you to join the challenge!!  And be sure to check out the rest of the OCC design team creations! There is no time limit on our challenges. Feel free to participate whenever you are able.  If you upload to SCS, remember to use keyword: OCCC

Have a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!
