It's All About Stamping

Tour de Freak October 2010

Welcome Freaks and Freak fans!  It’s the 20th of the month and you know what that means…Tour de Freak!  I’m stop number 4 on the tour and you probably just came from Lisa Young’s blog – Add Ink and Stamp.  If you’re starting here, be sure and make the complete tour back to Lisa because she has some fun projects to share with you!

This month’s theme is December Holidays!  Our most favorite time of the year!  I’m going to start off with a more traditional card.

Here’s What I Used:
Stamps: Word Play
Paper: Jolly Holiday DSP, Very Vanilla, Old Olive,
Ink: (markers:  Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Basic Black)
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border punch, 1 3/4″ circle punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, Very Vanilla Taffeta ribbon, Corner Rounder punch, Dimensionals, Fine Galaxy glitter (red), Tombow glue,

Here’s What I Used:
Stamps: Come to Bethlehem
Paper: Marina Mist, Vellum Cardstock, Basic Black & DSP,  Whisper White,
Ink: Versamark, Stazon Jet Black,
Accessories: Rhinestones, Buttons Sizzlit, Black Embossing Powder, Corner Rounder Punch, 5/8″ Marina Mist Grosgrain ribbon, Modern Label punch, Word Window Punch, Dimensionals, Scallop Trim Border punch, White embroidery thread,

My last project is an altered item.  This was one of those $.10 notepads that are great to stick in your purse and I’ve added a decorative front to it.  It’s great for creating christmas shopping lists and keeping track of what you’ve purchased.

Here’s What I Used:
Stamps: none
Paper: Pear Pizzaz & DSP, Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride, Whisper White,
Ink: none (sentiment printed with MDS)
Accessories: 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8″ Circle punch, 1 1/4″ Square punch, Old Olive 1/4″ Grosgrain ribbon, Brights brads, 1/4″ circle punch, Scallop Edge Border punch, Modern Label punch, Crop-a-dile,  Mat Pack/Paper Piercer,  Rose Red Chalk, White Gel pen, Black marker,
