Welcome to the 2nd stop on the JanuaryTour de Freaks! You probably just arrived after visiting Patty Bennett’s site Patty’s Stamping Spot. She had some great projects, didn’t she?! Great ideas for the jewelry and such cute treat holders! The Control Freaks are a talented bunch of ladies! I feel honored to be associated with them. If you missed her post, you can go back and catch it on the link above.
TheTour theme this month is Valentine/Love projects:
First I have a Happy Valentine’s Day card. What fun this card was to make with the new I {heart} Hearts set!
Here’s what I used:
Stamps: New I {heart} Hearts, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Real Red DSP, Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red,
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black
Accessories: New 5/8″ Basic Black Satin ribbon, New Scallop Trim punch, Mat Pack/Paper Piercer, Corner Rounder punch, Heart to Heart punch, Dimensionals
Next is this Valentine treat holder. I’ve made some variation of this for several years because it’s so quick and simple and fun to give to someone.
Here’s what I used:
Stamps: New I {heart} Hearts, All Holidays
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White,
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black,
Accessories: New Scallop Trim Border punch, White organza ribbon, Funky Heart Sizzlet, Mat Pack/Paper Piercer, 1/8″ Circle punch, Small Cello Bag, Dimensionals
Next is a “love” project: My son recently got engaged and this is him and his fiance. They’re a cute couple and we just love his choice. They’ll be married in April. I made this quick page on MDS. Love love love love MyDigitalStudio! I had been getting into digital scrapbooking about 6 months before Stampin’ Up! came out with it. I love having all those Stampin’ Up! papers, colors, stamps, embellishments, etc at my fingertips! I just wish I got more time to create with it!
Here’s what I used: MY DIGITAL STUDIO
Hope you feel very inspired now heehee! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you come back real soon!

“Wendys” really ARE brilliant, aren’t they?? Your rectangular card is PERFECT (colors, layout and all the little details), and your kisses bag just makes me wanna eat it! (okay, well, maybe just the chocolate IN it!). And what a sweet layout of your son and soon-to-be daughter!! 🙂

Your Red & White projects really catch my eye! I started out saying I especially love the heart box, but then I think the card is WOW too.
And your MDS page is fantastic too! Pretty colors, well balanced & all around just wonderful to look at.

Love your little Valentine treat holder. I can’t figure out how you got the heart cut/punched into the center of the little box like that. Could you explain? Thanks so much.

Do you have a template for that?

Could you please tell me the instruction on how to make.
Thank you
