It's All About Stamping

No, It’s Not A Partridge in a Pear Tree

Welcome!  Hope you’re enjoying your weekend and not too stressed to enjoy this holiday season.  Sit down, (well, I suppose you already are if you’re at your computer) take a look at what the OCC Design Team girls have created for today’s challenge, and give it a try!  Jenny Gropp is our challenge host this month and she’s come up with some fun challenges I know you’ll enjoy!  This week’s challenge is to use the verses from 12 days of Christmas to inspire a card/project.  I chose to use the “partridge in a pear tree” verse but I didn’t want to make a Christmas card so it inspired a different kind of bird in a different kind of tree!  We have so many beautiful birds here in Virginia!  I’m no bird expert but the Barn Swallow and Eastern Bluebird inspired the colors.

Here’s what I used:
Stamps: Touch of Nature (retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes, En Francais
Paper: Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, Dusty Durango, Whisper White,
Ink: Jet Black Stazon, Brocade Blue
Accessories: Mat Pack/Piercer, White organza ribbon, Modern Label punch, Word Window punch, Silver brads, Dimensionals, Nestabilities,

Be sure and check out the rest of the OCC design team creations! We invite you to take the challenge and play along. There is no time limit on our challenges. Feel free to participate whenever you are able. To play along, upload your creation to your blog or gallery, then leave a comment linking to your project so we can check it out. If you upload to SCS, remember to use keyword: OCCC

Thanks for stopping by! Come again soon!
