It's All About Stamping

Magic Snowflake

magic SnowflakeHere’s the 3rd card we did in class last week– the Magic Snowflake card.  It’s a fun emboss resist technique.

You start by stamping a snowflake with Versamark onto Glossy cardstock then emboss it with white embossing powder.  Then take a cotton ball and wet it with alcohol.  Then use reinkers to make small ink dots on the cottonball.  I use 3 colors.  In this case I used Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, and Silver.  Then dab the cotton ball all over the snowflake and all around it until you get the desired effect.  Then dry it with the heat tool.  Wipe the snowflake with a cloth and there you go!  Easy peasey!  In this case I used Stickles to add spaarkle to the snowflake when I was done and also some sparkle stickers.

 Here’s what I used:
Stamps: Best Wishes & More, All Year Cheer,
Paper: Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, Whisper White, Glossy White,
Ink: Night of Navy, Versamark,
Accessories: Night of Navy reinker, Brocade Blue reinker, Silver reinker, Organza ribbon, Ticket punch, Silver brads, White Embossing powder, Alcohol, cotton ball, Stickles, stickers,

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
