Ahoy Mates!  Welcome to the 2nd stop on the Catty Cruise!

You probably just sailed here from Kriss Huels – Stamp with Kriss.  But if you missed the first stop, you can go back and check it out!  What a great start to the cruise that was!

I’m featuring the Delightful Decorations Stamp Set and Ornament Punch today.  Here’s the first card:

And my 3rd project is lots of tags!  These were so easy and fun to make!  For the first set of tags I used a stamp in the Delightful Decorations stamp set.  I inked it in Bravo Burgundy, Night of Navy, Real Red, and Old Olive.  After I inked the stamp in one of those colors, I used the Black marker to color over the words and then I stamped it on a single sheet of Whisper White.  Then I punched it out with the Ornament punch, punched a hole at the top with the 1/8″ circle punch and ran 5″ of Silver Elastic cording through the hole.

The 2nd set of tags is another stamp in the Delightful Decorations set.  It was inked in Riding Hood Red,  Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, Handsome Hunter, and Crushed Curry then stamped on a single sheet of Whisper White then punched out with the Ornament punch.  For the center I used Silver Foil punched with the 1″ circle punch.  I stamped the small decoration with the same color as the ornament then punched it out with the 3/4″ circle punch.  I’ve used a Silver Pearl in the center of each and stamped the “To:  From:” on the back in Basic Black.  That stamp is from Tag Time (retired).

For the 3rd set, I took a piece of Festive Finery DSP (retired) and folded it in half.  Then punched it with the Ornament punch making sure the fold at the top of the paper was inside the area to be punched so that the fold at the top remained after it was punched.  This DSP is one-sided so the inside of the tag is white.  I used the Tag Time “To:  From:” stamp on the inside.  Again I used Silver Foil punched with the 1″ circle punch and stamped the other image for the center and punched it with the 3/4″ circle punch.  Silver Pearls were also used in the center but you could use silver brads for both.

I’m glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoyed your stay with me!  Come back soon!

Sail on over to the 3rd stop on the Catty Cruise manned (woman’d?) by my good friend and girlfriend stamper–Lynn Weiss, LW Designs!  She’s a fabulous stamper!!  Click the image below to cruise on over!

  8. Loved the Burgundy card with the gold foil – where did you purchase your gold foil cardstock? What was the actual name or # – I’ve been looking for this color for quite some time and our gold SU! cardstock is a little too bright for me. This is more elegant.

    Thanks for your help!
