No, you didn’t miss sketch 4…I’m still tweeking it.   This is a blast from the past but hey, I’m so sick of my stamp sets and excuse me while I grumble just a little but I’m tired of Stampin’ Up retiring everything before I get much chance to use it!  I’m soooo happy to be going back to one catalog for that reason!  On the other hand…I’m not totally excited about many of the new sets in the new catalog.  I’m looking forward to a couple but, well,..that’s why I went digging in the closet!

I like the way this one turned out though.  The ribbon is some ribbon I just got to put on the hand towels in my kids bathroom.  I painted it a couple weeks ago and put up new towel racks.  It looks so much better.  We’ll be in this house 2 years next month and I’ve lived with that purple kids bathroom with hooks everywhere for waaayyyy too long!  So, these are the colors of their new bathroom.  Ivory, Sand, Turquoise, and Chocolate Chip.

Stamps:  In Full Bloom, Best Yet

Paper: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky, Non-SU Kraft,
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: Mat Pack, Paper Piercer, Spiral Punch, Non-SU ribbon, dimensionals, 1 3/8″ circle Punch, 1 1/4″ circle punch, Aqua Painter,

  1. Holy moly! I love this, Wendy! I’d love to see that matching bathroom!

Seeing your cool spiral punch makes me wonder why I never think of using mine. I must make a mental note to start grabbing it!

I’m finding that I’m enjoying using my neglected retired stamp sets lately. Glad to see someone else isn’t afraid to use them too!

  5. Wendy, I’m so happy to have found you again!!! I visited your blog almost daily and was so very disappointed when I got the message saying your blog had been deleted. I continued to try for several more days, but with no luck. Then, today while visiting Nancy Riley’s blog — there you were! I so enjoy your wonderful creations. They are always so fresh and delightful… Thank you for sharing your talent and love of stamping with all of us.

  6. Wendy, this is just wonderful! I agree about the new catalog. I wasn’t that thrilled either. But I do have this set and love what you did with it. But you cut out that flower! Argghh! TFS!
