It's All About Stamping

Embrace Watercoloring

Embrace watercolor          This is a card we made in stamp class last week but we made it in red instead of this 2-tone pink and yellow.  I CASEd  the idea from Patty Bennett here.  There’s another link in that post that shows an instruction video.   The weird thing is that these flowers were made with REAL RED reinker and So Saffron reinker.  The red just went really soft to this Regal Rose color.

The cardbase is Regal Rose with a layer of Basic Black.  Next is the So Saffron Designer Series paper and a Regal Rose print from the retired paper Spring Fling.  The dimensions for these pieces are:  (2) 1 7/8 x 1 7/8  and (2) 3 1/8 x 1 7/8.  Then the Basic Black square that the flowers are on is 2 3/4 square.  So Saffron square 2 1/2.  Regal Rose 2 3/8 square and a Whisper White 2 1/4 square.  The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes is stamped with Basic Black on Whisper White and is punched with the new Modern Label punch.  It’s attached through the designer paper and basic black layer with 2 black brads.

The flowers are from the Embrace Life stamp set and stamped with Versamark on SHIMMERY WHITE paper then embossed with Black embossing powder.  After they”re “painted” and dried, cut them out.  I attached 3 black 3mm jewels from Jewelry Essentials with Jewel-It glue.

Thanks so much for visiting me!  Please come again!
