It's All About Stamping

Breeze, Ruby, Whisper Challenge

CC223         I LOVE the Splitcoast Color Challenge 223 of Baja Breeze, Ruby Red, & Whisper White this week!   And my card is a CASE (Copy And Steal/Share Everything) from Kelly Lunceford’s card found here.  Thanks for sharing Kelly!

This is a Whisper White Card base with the fold at the top.  On the layer of Baja Breeze I used the outline stamp of the smaller flower from Heartfelt Thanks stamp set–which is retiring so get it while you can!!  It’s stamped with Baja Breeze and the edges are also sponged.  All 4 corners are punched with the Ticket Punch.

I used Riding Hood Red on the lower half of the card.  It’s stamped with the background stamp En Francais in Riding Hood Red and sponged around the edges.  I used a white strip in the center and pierced it with the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing tool then added a Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon in the center.

The sentiment at the bottom is also from Heartfelt Thanks and I stamped it on Vellum paper (not cardstock) with Stazon Jet Black.  It’s attached with a glue dot at the far right.  Then I punched a 3/4″ circle in Baja Breeze and put it under a clear button then ran white embroidery floss through both and attached it with another glue dot.

The image is again from Heartfelt Thanks and is stamped in Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze with outlines of Black (it’s a 2-step stamp set).  Both ovals are punched with Nestabilities and my Cuttlebug and popped up on the card.  I love it!  Thanks again Kelly!

And thank you for visiting.  I did get to stamp again because I’m planning for a stamp class for Friday!  Have a great day!
