Let’s Get Country Challenge

Hey all!  I’m lagging behind on the challenge but I really wanted to participate.
The challenge at Our Creative Corner is to create a project with a country or western look (I chose country).  You must use some plaid and use this photo to inspire you.
I started off with several other ideas and it’s taken me all day to change and change and come up with this.  Not wowy–yes I said wowy– but I have a good use for it.

Here’s What I Used:
Stamps:  Lovely as a Tree, non-su sentiment
Paper:  Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Confetti White, non SU dsp plaid and lt brown,

Ink:  Stazon Black, More Mustard, Peach Parfait, Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke, Bashful Blue, Cherry Cobbler,

Accessories:  Aqua painter (it’s been a long time since I used this.  I love them!!), mat pack/paper piercer, misc button, choc chip 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon.

Come take the challenge with us! Check out what the rest of the OCC Design Team has created. If you upload to SCS, use the keyword OCCC. If you would like to be considered for the Top Talent award, be sure you link back to the OCC post by 11:59pm EST next Friday. Happy creating!

  1. Wendy it’s fabulous! You truly captured the outdoor scenery of the image and that banner tag looks like the material of chaps. Such a wonderful job on this card. :)
