Welcome back for another challenge at Our Creative Corner. Today’s challenge is to use this image as inspiration and to use at least 2 buttons (real, paper, etc), and polka dots somewhere on your creation.
I’m not sure why this inspired my creation but I think I just had it on my mind that I wanted to make a fall card of some sort and this image didn’t really help with the colors. So I chose the light blue and light green in the photo and went with that and a neutral.
Here’s What I Used:
Stamps: Happy Harmony (r), Gently Falling
Paper: Whisper White, Sahara Sand DSP, Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Mat Pack/Paper Piercer, Linen Thread, misc buttons, 2-1/2″ circle punch,
Come take the challenge with us! Check out what the rest of the OCC Design Team has created. If you upload to SCS, use the keyword OCCC. If you would like to be considered for the Top Talent award, be sure you link back to the OCC post by 11:59pm EST next Friday. Happy creating!
New Information for you: we at OCC are changing the format for our Guest Designers, and starting in October we will be having a ‘Top Talent Thursday’ where the winner of our Challenges will be centre stage and where she/he will present some work and answer a few questions.’ How would you like to be part of this? All you have to do is participate in our Challenges and you never know we may pick YOU!!!!

/ September 22, 2012Wendy, it’s fantastic. I love that you pulled the neutrals out as your main focus. The layout of your card is so appealing and I think aside from all your beautiful embellishments, my favorite is the dual tag that houses the scripture. That’s just stunning!
Hugs to you,
Lisa xx
