Happy Black Friday!  I suppose if you’re reading this, you’re not out braving the crowds!  I Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and/or friends!  We did, even though it was without extended family and friends.  I had 3 of my 4 children and we enjoyed the yummy food and each other’s company.  We got to Skype some of our extended family which was a wonderful blessing too!  Wow, the wonders of technology!

November Tour de Freaks! Stop #2

Welcome Freak lovers!  This is the 2nd stop on the Tour de Freaks!  This month we are highlighting Christmas Gifts.  We hope you enjoy the tour!  (If you missed the 1st stop on the tour, it’s Patty Bennett’s “Patty’s Stamping Spot“!) 

Here’s my first gift item:

I used box #13 on the S.U. demonstrator website and cut the top 1 1/2ish inches off for the pattern.

The 2nd gift item I’m showing is post-it note holders:

There are several places you can find the instructions for this. I have my own written up but if you google “pen and post-it note holder” you will find lots of examples and videos on how to make one.

Stamp-a-Stack #1

I told you I would post the cards from my stamp-a-stack so today I am posting the first of 4 cards. Tomorrow is the Tour de Freak and Saturday is the Our Creative Corner challenge so I won’t post card #2 until Sunday or Monday. The best part about being a demonstrator is to get to socialize with the other stampers! I loved stamping with the ladies in the stamp-a-stack classes! I had 4 new stampers and they all did a great job!

Hope you’re having a wonderful Tuesday! I’m busy getting ready for a couple stamp-a-stack classes and will share some of that with you tomorrow but wanted to post a card today that I’m not using for the stamp-a-stack.  I may have used this one if I’d had the Soft Suede Ribbon, but since I don’t (I’ve been kicking myself over that and need to order it!),  I won’t be using this one!

Our Creative Corner challenge this week was quite a challenge for me again!  I know, I say that almost every week….I didn’t say it last week…!!  I had NOOOOOO idea what to do with the Postcard Sketch Challenge!  This is what came to my mind (the only thing that came to my mind!) and so it’s what I went with!!  Whew!!  Glad that’s over!!  I have a craft show that is occupying what little space I have in my head and will be gone all day.  I’m excited to see what you all came up with when I get back!

What a rainy Wednesday it is here in Virginia!  I think it’s been raining 24 hours straight now…   makes me sleepy!  This is a totally over-the-top busy week but I realized I hadn’t posted since Saturday so I tried hard to steal a few minutes to stamp the Mojo Sketch.  Here’s my card:
